What makes bio3 teas special?
Teas are the most natural way of taking herbal remedies. Bio3 ecological filter tea bags, sealed with needles and threads, without metallic staples, avoid the filtration of metals and oxide compounds to the tea infusion that you are going to drink. Our tea bags are individually wrapped to better protect flavour and taste.
Does tea contain antioxidants?
Tea, like fruit and vegetables is a natural source of polyphenols and flavonoids which have antioxidant activity.

What are antioxidants?

Antioxidants protect key cell components by neutralizing the damaging effects of "free radicals", natural by products of cell metabolism. Free radicals form when oxygen is metabolized, or burned by the body. They travel through cells, disrupting the structure of other molecules, causing cellular damage. Such cell damage is believed to contribute to aging and various health problems.
Does tea contain the same level of caffeine as coffe?
No, at least half the level of coffe. According to the American Dietetic Association, a cup of tea contains an average of 40 mg of caffeine, compared to 85 mg as found in a cup of freshly brewed coffe.

How are made our capsules?
Our capsules are presented both in Jelly pills (or soft gelatine capsules) used for  the preparations of essential oils, and capsules (or hard gelatine capsules) for the preparations of micronized plants. All bio3 products have a standardized content of active ingredients and are always made of vegetable gelatine.
Bio3 capsules are presented in blisters in order to protect its quality and purity from any external factor and making it easier to take them to the office, the gym, in the briefcase, in handbag.

What are the differences between green, black, white, red, chai, honeybush and herb teas?

Black tea-what we commonly think of when someone mentions "tea"-is made from the dried leaves of Camellia sinensis, a white-flowering evergreen bush native to China and India.
The leaves used for green tea are the same as those that make black and oolong teas, but they are either steamed or pan-fired right after being picked.
